Voices of Tomorrow of C.R. Anderson Middle
School
Thomas Mazanec, Director
Voices of Tomorrow of C.R. Anderson Middle School returns
to perform with the Helena Symphony after a successful performance
of Puccini’s La Bohème last season. Founded
in 1991 as a chorus of 36 sixth grade singers, Voices of
Tomorrow was named by 3 founding members.
The group now meets twice a week before the school day starts,
singing mostly modern music and spending their time performing
for retirement homes, elementary schools and whoever calls
requesting entertainment. Voices of Tomorrow has performed
for the governor, Fort Harrison VA hospital, and annually
for the Festival of Trees.
Select singers from Voices of Tomorrow are chosen to perform
with the Symphony. Student singers are from all 3 grade levels
at C. R. Anderson Middle School. This season they return
to perform during the Family Holiday Concert in December
and during the Symphony’s Annual Evening at the
Opera in Bizet’s Carmen.
