What a crazy year it has been! Thankfully, the Helena Symphony’s music-making continues for you and because of YOU!
Instead of closing our doors to weather the storm, we have introduced our innovative and socially-distanced HomeStream Your Helena Symphony live broadcasts. Presented at no charge, we are thrilled that we have reached over 16,000 people over the course of five unique concerts in under eight weeks. These performances are promoting the safety of you and our entire family of patrons, as well as ensuring the health of our musicians of the Helena Symphony Orchestra & Chorale.
We are, however, feeling the weight of the pandemic. Last year, the Symphony did lose over $245k in expected revenue, and as you can imagine, the costs of the $45k-$60k concerts have only increased in order to broadcast them.
Most importantly, YOUR Helena Symphony is making a major impact in our community and throughout the country right now, as we know music is critical for our emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being.
