The Director of Patron Services is the chief coordinator of all administrative activities including the box office, volunteer services and office management. S/he will serve as the lead for ticket sales operations and effective functioning of the Symphony’s customer relations management (computer) programs. The Director of Patron Services will recruit, organize, train and manage volunteers, including ushers, in “front of house” operations at Symphony performances and special events throughout the season. S/he will maintain a cadre of volunteers, their schedules and duties during regular office hours, Symphony performances and special events throughout the season. The Director of Patron Services will serve as the lead staff person for daily relationships with vendors, software systems and Symphony accounting staff to maintain accurate records and effective troubleshooting and problem solving with customers, staff and volunteers. S/he will maintain, manage and update the donor database as well as manage the Symphony’s Twitter and Facebook accounts. The Director of Patron Services will also serve as staff assistant to the Executive Director.
