On Saturday, November 3rd at the Red Fox Restaurant, the Helena Symphony will host an evening to support the Symphony and its music-making in the community. “This is a wonderful way to enjoy an evening out and to support the Helena Symphony,” explains Symphony President Kathy Bramer. “The special events committee works tirelessly to ensure that the dinner is exquisite, the auction is unique, and that people feel good about supporting the Symphony.”
Beginning at 6:00 p.m., the dinner includes a delightful spinach, pear, and walnut salad, followed by Baron of Beef, pork loin with an apricot mustard sauce, or Burgundy mushroom chicken. The meal is accompanied by green beans with onions, bacon, and parmesan cheese as well as apricot-glazed honey carrots, and complimented with wild rice pilaf with mushrooms and herb-roasted baby red potatoes.

After a cheese cake dessert, a fun auction begins that includes several one-of-a-kind items, such as a two night stay at the famous and elegant Davenport Hotel in Spokane, a cabin stay on the Missouri River, and a hand made drop-leaf table by Vern Tolstedt.

The chance to conduct the Helena Symphony Orchestra as a “Maestro for a Day,” as well as the chance to make candy for a day at The Parrot are also rare opportunities to win. The most unique gems of the evening include violins that have been converted in meaningful artworks by noted artists, including Maureen White, Len Eckel, Ginger Agee, Doug Turman, and Susie Fabian. There are several other rare items, including a private cocktail at the historic Chumasero Mansion with entertainment provided by members of the Helena Symphony Chorale, many restaurant packages, ceramic works from Archie Bray artists, and much more.

Tickets are $60 per person, and must be secured no later than October 30th to ensure your reservation. For tickets or more information, contact the Helena Symphony at 406.442.1860 or helenasymphony.org, and can be purchased on line at helenasymphony.org, or by calling the Symphony Box Office (406.442.1860), or at the Symphony Box Office located at 48 Hibbard Way, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
