(HELENA) – The Helena Symphony and Carroll College announces their continued collaboration for the 14th annual Symphony Under the Stars concert event and fireworks show on Saturday, July 15 at 8:30 p.m. on the campus of Carroll College.  Considered the largest summer event in Montana, the much anticipated Symphony Under the Stars attracts well over 15,000 people from all over the state of Montana and beyond.

Three guest vocalists, backup singers, and a rock band join the Helena Symphony Orchestra for ROCK ON! The Music of the 70s & 80s, featuring the greatest hits of classic rock, pop and disco, including music of Michael Jackson, Led Zeppelin, Chicago, Aerosmith, Journey, and many more. 

“Symphony Under the Stars has become an important Montana tradition,” said Helena Symphony Music Director Allan R. Scott. “Carroll College and the Helena Symphony have committed to keeping this concert alive.”

“We are grateful to our sponsors for helping ensure the viability of an event that so many Montana families continue to make a part of their summer plans,” said Tom Evans, President of Carroll College.

This concert is free to those spreading out a blanket on the lawn.  A limited number of reserved chairs are available in front of the stage for $30 each, plus a small transaction fee, and will go on sale on Wednesday, June 1st.  Online sales will start at 12:01 AM at www.helenasymphony.org.  Tickets (limit of 8) may also be purchased by phone at 406-442-1860, or in person at the Symphony Box Office at 2 N. Last Chance Gulch starting at 10:00 AM.
